"Trip-and-Fall" Case Settled

We just begun the assertion of what is typically called a “trip-and-fall” case in a Cleveland suburb.

Our client was walking on a newly poured cement sidewalk, where the pavers had left a large plastic pipe sticking out.

Our client (a senior) was walking her normal path and tripped on the protrusion – and had rather serious injuries.

This case is just beginning, and these cases are often difficult to pursue – but this one is one of the infrequent ones where there is clear liability because of the recent re-paving.
