Summer Fun Can Turn Dangerous

School is over and as we begin summer vacation it’s important to educate your teens.

Whether it’s house parties, underage drinking or driving under the influence, they often have nothing but time on their hands which can lead to serious trouble.

And we can’t forget about those July 4th parties. “In 2019, 515 people died in motor vehicle crashes over the July 4th holiday period (6 p.m. July 3 – 5:59 a.m. July 8, 2019). Thirty-eight percent (198) of those fatalities occurred in alcohol-impaired-driving crashes,” according to the United States Department of Transportation.

Drive sober or don’t drive at all. And take the time to sit with your of-age students who are home for the summer who may not realize the long-term impact a DUI can have.

If you or someone you love is arrested, we are here 24/7 even on holidays so contact us immediately.
