No longer is it just avoiding drugs and alcohol behind the wheel, the Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to also crack down on distracted drivers.
Put into effect over a year ago, now officers are constantly on high alert for any reason to pull you over, including texting and driving.
“In four years, nearly 30 crashes along this portion of I-680 were caused by distracted drivers, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation,” as reported in Mahoning Matters.
