Underage Drinking is on the Rise
/Summer vacation is still here and with it comes the chances for excessive partying.
Those teens haven’t yet returned back to school and might still be gathering with their friends. Before you let them out of the house make sure they are aware of the consequences of drinking underage.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, “Excessive drinking is responsible for more than 3,500 deaths and 210,000 years of potential life lost among people under age 21 each year.”
While harrowing, these statistics show what a threat alcohol can be to minors. Educate your teens on staying sober and avoiding getting in a car with anyone who isn’t.
